It's easy to put up a brave front.

It's easy to pretend like everything will be okay...

Except when you can't pretend anymore,

And you are scared.

That's when things get tough,

That's when you realize that things might not turn out like you planned.

Pray for me, please.

Christmas and the break were great.  It was so nice to be at home with my family, and also to relax.

But now it's back to reality.  I started student teaching today... sorta.  I'm back with my Kinders but I don't start teaching until next week.  I know it's gonna be a challenge to manage everything, but I'm really very excited.  It's crazy to think that in 4 months I will be done student teaching, graduated, and married.  I can hardly wait!

Jesse and I spent a lot of time together over the break.  It was great.  We are still uncertain of what the future holds for us, but I trust that God's plan will be revealed soon enough.  Prayers are always very much appreciated.

All of them!!!

These past couple weeks life has gotten crazy again.  I guess that goes with end of the semester territory.  I will be done with school in only 6 more days.  I can hardly wait for the stress to be over!  It will be so nice to spend the holidays at home with my family.

When I move back to Gboro, I will be student teaching.  Isn't that crazy???  It's so hard to believe that before too long I will have a class that I can call my own.  I am really excited!

It's only about 6 months until my BIG day.  Time really is flying bye.  Jesse and I started registery for gifts.  That makes things really real whenever you start picking items out for "our" home.  But who knows where that home will be.  Jesse and I still really praying about job possibilties, one in particular.  I know that he will provide for our future.  I just wish I knew where that might be.

Good luck to everyone on exams!

It certainly has been a long while since I last posted.  What can I say, senior year has proved to be busy!

I have a job as a nanny that I have been working for almost two months now.  I really love it.  I just got placed with a permenant family this week.  They have a six-week-old baby girl.  Just precious!

School is flying by, and for that I am grateful!  It's almost time for Thanksgiving, and then before you know it, it'll be Christmas break.  How exciting!

I cannot express how eager I am to begin student teaching.  Each day that I intern I am reminded that this is truly what I have been called to do.  I appreciate the opportunity to be placed at a lower income school.  I feel that it is God who has called me to teach those who have no hope for the future.  Teaching is, and will be, my ministry.

The Lord is really teaching me a lot, molding me each day.  I can't wait to see what he has in store.

Jesse and I are doing incredibly well.  Our wedding day is quickly approaching.  Only about six and half more months.  Living apart from one another continues to be a challenge for our daily lives, but I know that soon enough we will be together each day.  Neither one of us know exactly where the future is leading.  I'm not really worried about it though, I know that God will soon reveal his plan to us.  In the mean time, I will continue to pray that my love for Jesse will overcome distance and any obstacle that comes our ways.
